I recently moved to the area from out of state and was very worried about replacing my old mechanic. My number one concern was being subjected to the "up-sell" common at dealerships and other big chains. I was so relieved to find Tidewater. They are honest, friendly, and DEFINITELY competitive on prices. I drive 30 minutes to get there from Norfolk and I don't mind a bit. Rob is always busy but takes his time with each customer regardless. Truthfully, I feel better about the life of my Honda (it's an '04 Civic) knowing Rob and his people will be taking care of it.

I was recommended to Tidewater Import Car Service by THREE different people, and the shop certainly lived up to its name. In regards to my initial phone consultation, they were friendly and accommodating. I was told (by another garage) that I needed ALL new rotors and brakes. Tidewater Import Car Service informed me that all I needed was front rotors and brakes and offered to send me a notice for when the rear brakes and rotors needed replacing.
